The Atrium Chinese Restaurant Lobster Gourmet Delicacies A-la-carte Menu
The Atrium Chinese Restaurant Executive Sous Chef KON Chu-kwong and his team, carefully select fresh lobsters weighing around 10 taels, combined with creative culinary flair to present eight dishes and two delightful dim sums.
The vibrant Lobster Salad (HK$680) features fresh whole lobster with a firm and sweet texture, combined with crunchy asparagus, juicy watermelon and cantaloupe, chewy fox nuts and a colourful mix of French vegetables. The salad comes with a tangy plum sauce, which makes it an ideal summer cooling dish not to be missed.
Hot and Sour Lobster Soup with Pickled Vegetables (HK$680) is inspired by the ever-popular Sichuan cuisine. The soup base is prepared using pork bone broth with added Sichuan peppercorns, green and red peppers, pumpkin purée, and a hint of chillies, bringing out the five pillar flavours in Sichuan cuisine, namely numbing, spicy, pungent, fragrant and sour, pleasantly complemented by succulent lobster meat.
Another Chef Kon’s master is the silky Steamed Egg with Stir-fried Lobster,Scallop and Caviar (HK$780), that combines cooking methods of steaming, frying and sautéing to showcase the silkiness of lobster broth-infused steamed egg, topped with juicy lobster fillets, grilled scallops; and garnered with caviar to finish.
The Lobster Delicacies menu also offers two delightful dim sums. The adorable Steamed Lobster Dumplings (HK$72) is a mixture of succulent lobster meat, pork, carrot and celery, disguised as a cutesy persimmon which metaphorically brings fortune and wealth. Another dim sum option is the crunchy Lobster Spring Rolls with Wasabi in Japanese Style (HK$88), is an umami heaven of fresh lobster fillet and scallops with an added spicy kick of wasabi, creating an absolutely mouth-watering delight.
The Lobster Delicacies Menu is available from today onwards during lunch and dinner.
The Atrium Chinese Restaurant Superior Lobster Set Menu
The Superior Lobster Set Menu at The Atrium Chinese Restaurant includes three tantalising lobster dishes and five seasonal dishes that bring a taste of freshness and sweetness to the early summer.
The set menu begins with three appetisers: Steamed Lobster Dumpling, Barbecued Pork and Fungus with Spring Onion Oil, to entice diners' appetite. The Double-boiled Soup prepared by Chef Kon is both nourishing and wholesome.
For the main course, you can opt for either Baked Half Lobster in Supreme Broth or a punchy Cheese Sauce. The menu is followed by Sautéed Diced Beef Tenderloin with Onion and Basil in Teriyaki Sauce and the healthy Bamboo Pith Stuffed with Fungus and Matsutake Mushrooms, catering to everyone's liking. The fragrant Fried Rice with Lobster and Dried Shrimp Wrapped in Lotus Leaf is simple yet leaves you craving for more. Lastly, a delicious Fried Taro Glutinous Rice Dumpling is complemented with refreshing Fruity Sparkling Tea to conclude this sumptuous feast.
