Technology moves fast and Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (Management) Limited works hard to ensure that we maintains and update our facilities and inventory of equipment to meet the expectations of customers and visitors.

Connectivity is vital in today’s world. HKCEC was one of the first convention and exhibition facilities to provide free Wi-Fi services. Through continual upgrades, the complimentary Wi-Fi service can now accommodate up to 5,000 concurrent users at any one time in general, while the mobile phone network has been switched from 3G to 4G. Fixed broadband lines are also available with charges.

A wide range of audio-visual equipment with on-site technical support is available to ensure the success of conferences, meetings and multimedia presentations. HKCEC is also equipped with simultaneous interpretation systems for up to seven languages at a time and 7.1 Dolby digital surround-sound system.

Other technical requirements are also available inside exhibition halls, including subways for temporary cables, water supply, drainage and compressed air. An in-house building operation team stands by to provide technical advice and on-site support.
