Terms and Conditions - CECFun Club

CECFun Club Membership Programme is managed and operated by Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (Management) Limited (HML). By registering for the CECFun Club Membership (Membership), you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out herein below and any subsequent amendments which may be made from time to time.

1. Membership

1.1 The registrant is required to download the HKCEC Mobile App (Mobile App) and register with required personal information for enjoying Members’ privileges. The Mobile App is only available on mobile devices using the latest version of iOS and Android.
1.2 Each individual is entitled to hold one Membership at any one time.
1.3 Registrants for the Membership must be aged 18 or above. HML reserves the right to request for proof of age at any time.
1.4 Registrants for the Membership must complete all mandatory fields on the registration page and provide true and accurate information. Enter one-time verification code through email or SMS to complete the registration. HML will not process any incomplete or inaccurate application and reserves the right to decline any application for Membership, re-issue or terminate a CECFun Club Membership at its sole and absolute discretion and without giving any reason therefor.
1.5 Members should only use their Member account to log in on one mobile device at one time.
1.6 The Membership is not transferable and is for the Members’ personal use and benefit only. Verification of a Member's identity may be required.
1.7 The CECFun Club Members’ offers and discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotions or offers.
1.8 Members may be required to present valid identification (e.g. HKID card, passport) to enjoy the birthday offer.
1.9 Upon successful Membership registration, your spending at designated HKCEC restaurants will be recorded and converted to CECFun Points in your Membership account. CECFun Points will be updated on the next day of the transaction. The records are available in your Membership account on the HKCEC Mobile App.
1.10 Cumulative spend is calculated based on the eligible spending, including 10% service charge, tea and condiment charges and after the use of all promotional offers, discounts and CECFun Points (if any).
1.11 The eligible spending of each transaction can be recorded on one Member account only. HML will not accept any claim of missing transaction after payment under all circumstances.
1.12 Members must present the Member QR code on their Mobile App before bill settlement in order to enjoy Members’ privileges. Member must be one of the patrons.
1.13 The Membership has three tiers: Silver, Gold and Diamond. Silver Membership is by registration and is free of charge. Gold Membership and Diamond Membership are by tier upgrade or renewal, based on the criteria of cumulative spend. For details, please refer to the latest information in CECFun Club session on the Mobile App.
1.14 Gold and Diamond Membership will be downgraded to Silver or Gold Membership if the cumulative spend required for upgrade or renewal is not met within the Membership year.
1.15 All Membership has a validity period on a 12-month rolling basis from the date of the successful Membership registration, renewal upgrade or downgrade.
1.16 Membership upgrade and earned CECFun Points will be automatically implemented to the Membership account in the next working day. The remaining net spending will be forfeited automatically. 
1.17 If no transaction has been recorded in a Member’s account in a period of consecutive 12 months, HML may terminate the Member’s account. Upon termination of the account, the CECFun Club Membership will be deactivated and cancelled without prior notice.
1.18 Each valid email/ mobile number can be used to sign up for Membership once only and each Member will only be entitled to the welcome offer once only.
1.19 Members can re-sign up after the previous Membership is removed or expired. The Registrants must be the legitimate owner of the registered email/ mobile number. Enter one-time verification code through email or SMS to complete the registration.
1.20 Members are responsible for the safekeeping of their Member account login information. HML shall not be responsible for any losses arising from the disclosure of account login information.
1.21 Members may terminate his/her Membership at any time in the Mobile App. All unused CECFun Points and rewards as well as the cumulative spend will then be forfeited on the termination of the Membership.
1.22 Members can edit and view their profile, login to your account in “Personal Information” in CECFun Club session of the Mobile App.

2. CECFun Points

2.1 Members are required to present the Membership QR code upon bill settlement. One CECFun Point can be earned for every eligible HK$1 spent at the following participating restaurants. Restaurant spending paid through third-party platforms will not count towards CECFun Points.

b. The Atrium Chinese Restaurant
c. Harbour Road Café
d. Harbour Kitchen
e. Port Cafe
f. Traders

2.2 No CECFun Point can be claimed and awarded after the transaction is completed.
2.3 The spending in cents will not be counted in calculating the CECFun Point earned for any transaction. Spending is calculated by rounding to the nearest dollar.
2.4 CECFun Points shall be calculated based on the total amount of the bill.
2.5 All cancelled transactions and refunds are not eligible for CECFun Points. The earned CECFun Points will be automatically deducted from the Member’s account, including the extra CECFun Points earned from specific promotions.
2.6 CECFun Points are not transferable and cannot be sold, purchased or assigned to other individuals.
2.7 Used points will be deducted from the Member’s account instantly at the time of redemption.
2.8 CECFun Points earned in a month will expire at the end of each corresponding quarter after 1 year. E.g. CECFun Points earned on 3 Jan 2023 will expire on 31 March 2024.
2.9 Upon successful referral of eligible referees, the Member will receive the corresponding points to be awarded by CECFun Club.
2.10 CECFun Points cannot be redeemed for cash.
2.11 Rewards can only be redeemed via the Mobile App and be used at participating restaurants by using the e-coupon’s QR code, unless according to the details of specific coupons.
2.12 Redeemed offers are not returnable nor exchangeable.
2.13 CECFun Points will be updated in the next working day after the transaction is being recorded. HML’s record is final and conclusive.

3. General

3.1 Selected e-coupons can be shared to another CECFun Club Member. Please refer to the details of the coupons.
3.2 HML has the sole discretion to decide whether an individual is eligible for Membership registration, upgrade and renewal and such decision is final and conclusive.
3.3 HML reserves the right to alter or amend these Terms and Conditions or to terminate the CECFun Club Member offers at any time without prior notice.
3.4 All offers with terms & conditions will be updated periodically without prior notice. HML reserves the right to amend the offers and the related terms & conditions without prior notice.
3.5 The personal data supplied by Members is required for the operation of the Membership. For details of how HML uses the personal data in connection with your Membership, please refer to HML’s Privacy Policy Statement (“Privacy Policy”).
3.6 Any improper and/or fraudulent behaviour or improper use of rewards from the programme, or any violation of these terms and conditions may result in immediate termination of Membership and cancellation of all rewards. HML may take actions to recover damages arising from any of the aforementioned violations against HML’s interests.
3.7 HML reserves all rights to terminate the operations of the programme at any time without giving any reason, after giving reasonable notice where circumstances allow and where it is reasonable and practicable to do so. In such an event, all privileges and promotions for Members shall cease with immediate effect. HML shall not be responsible for any loss or damages arising from such a termination.
3.8 HML reserves all rights to amend promotions, rules and regulations in the programme, and notify Members of said changes in any way HML sees fit. All Members shall be bound by the terms and conditions thus amended.
3.9 Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (Management) Limited reserves the rights on the final decision in case of any dispute.
3.10 If there is any inconsistency or ambiguity between the English version and the Chinese version of the Terms, the English version shall prevail.
