(12 October 2022) International buffet restaurant Congress Plus, located on the fourth floor of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, invites buffet lovers to celebrate Halloween with “Halloween Little League Feast” themed dinner buffet. Available from today onwards to 31 October 2022, the chefs at Congress Plus have prepared creative food offerings to spread the Halloween joy, while the restaurant will be transformed into a fa-boo-lous playground featuring mischievous “Halloween little league”.

The chilled seafood station headlines the menu with a selection of crustaceans and shellfishes, like the Chilled Canadian Boston Lobster, Poached New Zealand Mussels, Brown Crab, Sea Whelk and Poached Prawns.  Elevate a light-hearted Halloween dining experience with some bewitching treats, such as the icky intestines look-alike sesame jelly fish hanging out of a pumpkin. The scary-looking clawed chicken feet is in fact the collagen rich Double-boiled Chicken Feet and Peanut Soup which is known for its rejuvenation qualities. There is also the Mini “Mummy” Dogs with smeared ketchup which remains a gross hit amongst little kids.

‘Tis the season for all things black and spook-tacular. The jet-black Squid Ink Risotto with Seafood lends a briny flavour to the dish which looks spooky and tastes delicious at the same time. Freshly made at the kitchen counter, silky strands of squid ink pasta reminiscent of “witches hair” hurled into a pool of parmesan cheese with fine herbs and truffle must be the favourite of cheese lovers. The Mini Pumpkin Stuffed with Bacon and Cheese Marconi is camouflaged as jack-o’-lanterns, which adds a “wow” factor to the festive buffet spread.

Conclude your meal on a high note with sinfully sweet desserts like the Double Choc Spider Web Cake, with an itsy-bitsy spider sits atop the decadent chocolate cake. The fluffy Pumpkin Hojicha Cream Roll is a hojicha flavoured sponge cake rolled with silky cream disguise in a pumpkin; while Bubbling Witch’s Cauldron Brownies is overflowed with creepiness, and the crime scene-inspired “Blood Spatter” is a heavenly Black Forest filled with layers of confit morello cherries and whipped cream.

The dinner buffet provides unlimited supply of selected house wine, beer and orange juice. The “Halloween Little League Feast” dinner buffet is available from Wednesday to Sunday, eve of Public Holiday and Public Holiday from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. It is also available on 31 October 2022 to celebrate the scariest time of year.

The dinner buffet is priced at HK$758 for adults, HK$658 for senior citizens aged 65 or above, and HK$458 for children aged between 7 and 11. It is free of charge for children aged 6 or below. Each paying adult is entitled to bring one child aged 6 or below for free. Congress Plus will charge the price for children aged between 7 and 11. During the promotion period, guests can enjoy 15% off, or 20% off when guests show up in Halloween costumes.

On Wednesday and Thursday, enjoy 20% off for four patrons or more when the bill is settled using consumption voucher scheme payments*; or 15% off on Friday to Sunday, eve of Public Holiday and Public Holiday.
