The city’s accessibility is a key advantage: visa-free access for nationals of around 170 countries and regions; half the world’s population within a five-hour flight; around 1,000 flights daily to and from some 170 destinations worldwide, including 50 Mainland China cities. 

House Rules for Visitors

The Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (“HKCEC”) is managed by Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (Management) Limited. (“HML”). It is a multi-purpose venue for events that have been licensed in accordance with venue policies and procedures. Unlicensed activities or performances are not permitted without prior approval. The safety and comfort of users and visitors to the HKCEC is HML's priority, these House Rules have been prepared with this in mind.

Barrier-free Access

The Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre offers a full range of amenities to assist visitors with disabilities including the braille directory and teleloop system, and welcomes guide dogs. Spacious guest lifts readily accommodate wheelchairs, and major entrances are ramped. Users can charge their electric wheelchairs at the designated parking space located next to the HK Ticketing Box Office at the HKCEC Harbour Road Entrance if needed. There are also tactile guide paths at two main entrances, specially designed toilets and telephone booths.
