International Buffet Restaurant Congress Plus Hosts Spook-tacular “Halloween Pumpkin Mystery Fest” Dinner Buffet
(30 September 2024) International buffet restaurant Congress Plus, located on the fourth floor of Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, invites buffet lovers to celebrate the spookiest time of the year with “Halloween Pumpkin Mystery Fest” themed dinner buffet. Available from 2 to 31 October 2024, the chefs at Congress Plus have prepared a frightfully delightful Halloween feast and an array of international delicacies, while the restaurant will be transformed into a fa-boo-lous playground featuring a fantastical Pumpkin Mystery festival.
The chilled seafood station headlines with hand-shucked fresh Oysters, paired with a zesty Ginger-ponzu Spiked Tobiko and Spiced Yuzu Mignonette, while crustaceans and other shellfishes, such as Chilled Canadian Boston Lobsters, Snow Crab Legs, Poached New Zealand Mussels, Sea Whelk and Poached Prawns await your daring taste buds.
Elevate the light-hearted Halloween dining experience at the chop shop with the VampireSlow RoastedGarlic and Thyme U.S. Prime of Beefalongside the bone-chilling Black Garlic Spiced Lamb Rack, freshly conjured at the kitchen counter. Patrons will also find scarily delicious Candied Pumpkin and the spooky and tantalising jet-black Squid Ink Spiked Cuttlefish Balls with Spicy Salsa at the same time.
Venture into the Japanese corner for a feast of fresh sashimi, where sushi and maki are cleverly disguised as eerie little ghosts and monsters. Discover other bewitching treats, such as Fuseli Pasta Saladadorned with carved out vegetable sticks and skull-liked mozzarella balls. For the little ones, the “Ghostly” Pepperoni Pizza, Chicken Nuggets in Vampire Dip and Mini “Mummy” Dogs are also a ghoulish hit.
The Chocolate Fountain with ruby red chocolate takes the centrestage of the dessert showcase. A monstrous hand crafted with Almond Lady Finger Cookies in Raspberry Jam adds a haunting touch. Sink your teeth in the sinister Green Tea One-eyed Boy Madeleines and the Mummy’s Chocolate Cake, overflowing with rich flavours and creepiness. For an extra thrill, the Baked Red Berry Fondant Cups ooze with vibrant red berry jam creates a gory yet irresistible treat.
During the promotion period, the dinner buffet provides unlimited supply of selected house wine, beer, orange juice and soft drinks for free. What’s more? Pumpkin candy bags will be distributed to little kids and a trick or treat session will be held at 8pm every night for a night filled with scaries.

At 3pm on 7 November 2024, the two photos with the most likes will be chosen as the winners.
