HKCEC welcomed a blooming trade season with 205 events and an attendance of nearly 2 million in September to November
Attracted trade buyers from 150 countries and regions
(12 December 2024) Following a busy summer with well attended public exhibitions in July and August, the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (“HKCEC”) welcomed a blooming trade season in September to November 2024 with a total of 205 events and an attendance of nearly 2 million.
Among the 205 events, 31 were exhibitions and 29 were conferences. Other events included banquets, corporate events and entertainment events such as concerts. These events were well attended by international exhibitors and trade buyers, high spending overseas conference delegates, representatives of local business community and banquet guests.
Exhibitions continue to be one of the key drivers of Hong Kong’s mega events economy. The 31 exhibitions held at the HKCEC in September to November drew an attendance of almost 1.6 million from as many as 150 countries and regions. Highlights of the trade fairs, conferences and events include Jewellery & Gem WORLD Hong Kong, Hong Kong International Lighting Fair (Autumn Edition), Poly Auction Hong Kong Autumn Auctions 2024, Cosmoprof Asia 2024, 30th East Asian Insurance Congress, The 28th Congress of the Asian Pacific Society of Respirology, etc.
