A Positive Start to Trade Fair Season in Hong Kong (Video only)
Safety of visitors and staff has always been Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (Management) Limited's ("HML") top priority. Despite of public activities outside the HKCEC since June, all events that took place in the HKCEC were conducted smoothly with no disruption and exhibitors and buyers continued to make fruitful connections. Happy participants shown in the video give you a glimpse of their fruitful experience in Hong Kong.
HML remains confident for long term development of the industry and continues our investment of HK$1 billion in the HKCEC Five-Year Advancement Project for maintaining the HKCEC’s world class infrastructure and services.
We have already completed stage 1 of the Project, which started in June, covering the Convention Hall, Theatres and Hall 3FG. We have upgraded behind the scene facilities such as the audio system, air-handling units, water pipes and fire services installations. New carpets, partitions and wall fabrics are giving the venues a fresh new look. Toilets and ancillary rooms have also been refurbished.
Everyone at HML is proud of this ambitious project. There will be plenty more to look forward to: on completion of all stages, set for early 2024, a more comfortable, efficient, user-friendly and safer environment will be unveiled. I hope you are as excited as we are.
13 September is the Chinese traditional Mid-Autumn Festival when families get together. May I take this opportunity to wish you a blessed and beautiful day.
