HML has recently gained a number of local and international awards in various disciplines. HML’s strong F&B team sent a team of young chefs to the Hong Kong International Culinary Classic (HKICC) 2019. They won one Gold, five Silver and two Bronze medals in various categories. Endorsed by the World Association of Chefs Societies and co-organised by the Hong Kong Chefs Association and HOFEX, the HKICC aims at promoting culinary excellence, skills and abilities of chefs, pastry chefs and apprentices from close and far.

HML's corporate video "Let The World See Your World" and another behind-the-scene video "World Class Service from the heART" at Art Basel's show in Hong Kong was awarded the Bronze and Honors Award respectively in the "Video - DVD, Online & USB: Stakeholder Communication" category of the 2019 Astrid awards.

HML's annual publication "Activities & Achievements FY2017/2018" was also awarded the Honors Award in the "Custom Publications – Company Achievement" category. Organised by MerComm, Inc., the Astrid Awards honors outstanding achievement in corporate design from all around the world.

HML's hard work in ensuring that everyone can easily access the HKCEC website has gained another accolade. The Web Accessibility Recognition Scheme 18/19, organised by the Hong Kong Internet Registration Corporation Limited, awarded HML the Gold Award in the website category for the second time. The scheme gives recognition to websites that provide content that is easily available for all, including people with visual impairments.

Two other recent awards underline HML's commitment to sustainable development and community service. HML was proud to be named as a winner in the Social Capital Builder Logo Awards, organised by the Community Investment and Inclusion Fund (CIIF) of the government’s Labour and Welfare Bureau, and to also be awarded – for the 16th time – the Caring Company logo by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service for 2019.
