Time for Smart Sourcing

(Update: The show will go online.) It is that time of year again, as the watch and clock world gathers in Hong Kong for the well-established HKTDC Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair. This is the 39^th edition of this prestigious exhibition, which is built on the city's long-held position as a major trading platform for the timepiece industry.

The five-day show, which last year attracted over 17,000 international buyers, gathers together acclaimed watch and clock brands, retailers and wholesalers from around the world. Product categories include complete watches and clocks, parts and components, machinery and packaging and display products. Exhibitors and buyers make the most of the chance to expand networks and explore new business opportunities. The event is also a showcase for upcoming trends: smart watches were a big draw in 2019, and are set to be a key focus again this year. A major highlight of the fair is the high-end Salon de TE featuring globally renowned watch brands, and which is open to the public on the final day of the fair.
