How can emerging technologies and innovative advances power the future of financial services to maximise benefits for consumers, business and society at large? The sixth edition of Hong Kong FinTech Week in early November explored these issues under the theme of “Scaling FinTech Future Together".

The event was held in hybrid form, comprising physical and virtual formats. It attracted information technology companies, fintech firms and financial institutions in banking, insurance and asset management sectors, as well as investors and regulators. The two-day physical conference featured prominent industry and government leaders across three stages speaking on the latest fintech trends such as virtual and open banking, digital assets and currencies and payment technology.

FinTech Week was organised by the Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau of the Hong Kong government and InvestHK, and co-organised by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, Securities and Futures Commission and the Insurance Authority.
