Assistant Manager - Human Resources

  • Co-ordinates and manages recruitment, screening, and interviewing of applicants; provides guidance on selection and placement of employees in positions
  • Develops programs that improve the overall climate of positive employee relations in the areas of teamwork, cooperation, and motivation
  • Manages administration of the Centre's compensation and benefit programs; plans, designs and investigates new benefit programs and improvements in existing programs for recommendation
  • Advises Senior Manager - Human Resources & Administration on pay issues and performance appraisal
  • Advises and assists management in the handling of complaints or grievances and determination of appropriate disciplinary actions
  • Analyses, prepares and develops statistical containing findings, conclusions of recommendations through the use of interviews, surveys and questionnaires
  • Supervises and monitors the performance of subordinates to ensure service quality
  • Acts green by incorporating energy-saving and environmental-friendly procedures into daily work and supports the Centre’s corporate social responsibility activities


  • Degree holder or above in human resources management, training and development, business studies or other related fields
  • At least 5 years’ experience in business industry, with minimum 2 years in supervisory level
  • Solid experience in applying human resources policies and procedures necessary to manage the personnel activities of a major department
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Mature and confident in dealing with different levels of employees
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, Mandarin would be advantageous
