The Atrium Chinese Restaurant Launches Autumn Crab Roe Dishes to Showcase the Coveted Crustaceans

(18 October 2021) The Atrium Chinese Restaurant at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre launches a seasonal crab menu to highlight the highly-prized crustaceans. Led by Executive Sous Chef Kon Chu-kwong, diners will be treated to an array of dishes and a set dinner menu that feature the succulent crustaceans brimming with creamy roe starting today until 31 December 2021.

Alongside the all-time favourite Steamed Fresh Hairy Crab (weighing approximately 5.5 taels at HK$350), indulge in the flavours of the golden crab roe as it takes centre stage this season with notable items which include the fragrant Wok-fried Crab with White Pepper (HK$880), and Crab Meat and Cod Fish with Egg White Pouch (HK$288), that are perfect for sharing. The King Prawn with Crab Roe (HK$198) and Crab Coral Soup (HK$188) with shredded fish maw, crab meat and scallops will satisfy diners with their perfect balance of flavours. Of course, no hairy crab meal is complete without a basket of steaming hot Xiao Long Bao with Crab Roe (HK$128) that keeps diners happy.

Chef Kon has specially designed an eight-course Autumn Crab Indulgence dinner set menu. Available at HK$688 per person (minimum order of 2 persons) diners can appreciate the taste of the sought-after delicacy that includes:

Guests who order the Autumn Crab Indulgence dinner set menu are entitled to one hairy crab (weighing approximately 5.5 taels) at an additional HK$280, and Shaoxing Huadiao Rice Wine 8 years (450ml) at an additional HK$200 while stock lasts.

All prices listed are subject to 10% service charge.
