It is not sportsmen and women who can win Olympic
gold - chefs can too! The 22nd IKA / Culinary
Olympics took place in October 2008 in Frankfurt,
Germany. HKCEC chef Sam Chui was a part of the
Hong Kong team that won one gold and three silver
medals. This prestigious event, which cooks up
a real storm in the culinary world, takes place
every four years and brings together the world's
best chefs. It is organised by the World Association
of Chefs Societies and the German Chefs Association.
