| The HKCEC has been voted,
for the sixth time, the best Convention and Exhibition
Centre in the Asia Pacific by readers of CEI Asia Pacific.

While the HKCEC just received another award, the Centre is
adding eight exciting new exhibitions to its portfolio this
year. Variety is the spice of life — and the profile of the
new events is wide ranging, from luxury property to terrestrial
trunk radio, from fresh produce to antiques, from AV products
to art, from wine to entertainment content, with organisers
coming not only from Hong Kong, but also France, Germany,
Malaysia, Singapore and the UK.
The eight exhibitions are International Homebuyer and
Property Investor '08, ART HK 08, TETRA World Congress 2008,
Hong Kong International Wine Expo, Asia Fruit Logistica +
Asiafruit Congress, Hong Kong International Arts & Antiques
Fair (HKIAAF) 2008, AMAZIA, and InfoCommAsia 2008.
The lure of emerging markets in Asia is the big draw, with organisers
choosing the HKCEC and Hong Kong because of our reputation as
the region's best convention and exhibition centre, and the
city's position as a global business, trading and transport
hub.
Their addition certainly underlines Hong Kong's title as
the trade fair capital of Asia. At the HKCEC we play host
to around 80 major annual and biennial exhibitions, among
them the largest of their kind in the region and within the
top three in the world. We will continue to put every effort
into expanding our portfolio and bringing more world-class
exhibitions to Hong Kong.
