Sotheby's Hong Kong set new records at the Sotheby's 2006 Fall Exhibitions and Auctions (4-9 October 2006). Featuring stunning classic and contemporary art, the auctions generated sales of HK$1.07 billion, the highest ever achieved by the auction house in Hong Kong.

Over 60,000 buyers flocked to Mega Show Part 1 from 20 to 23 October 2006, drawn by around 5,300 exhibitor stands featuring an incredible array of every kind of gift, premium and household product imaginable!

Joint fairs Cosmoprof Asia and The Natural Health Fair (15-17 November 2006) really pulled in the crowds, with nearly 38,000 buyers descending on the HKCEC to sample health and beauty products offered by around 1,300 exhibitors.

Christie's Hong Kong set new auction records for Asia at Christie's Autumn Auctions. The six-day event running from 24 to 30 November 2006 raked in HK$1.64 billion, a record total for any sales season in Asia.
