DIY Delights 13-16 April 200413-16 April 2004
InterSource Hardware Asia 2004, a brand-new fair arriving at the HKCEC, is designed to serve as a one-stop international sourcing centre for hardware and DIY products. Joint organisers Adsale and Koelnmesse have plenty of experience in the field: Koelnmesse is in fact the organiser of Practical World, the world's largest hardware exhibition.

InterSource Hardware Asia looks like being an invaluable source for architects, designers, builders and contractors, home centres, and manufacturers alike. Besides displaying a vast array of tools and accessories for every kind of job imaginable, the exhibition will also feature products for home security, plumbing equipment, electrical installation equipment, building materials, and much more. The organisers are confident that this new show will prove an important stop for exhibitors and buyers. "Its timing, in April, matches the best dates in the buying cycle for DIY and hardware products," said a spokesman. "Hong Kong is of course one of the world's most attractive exhibition city, and for this fair we will be including value-added features such as seminars on topics like legal standards in different export markets. We're sure that InterSource Hardware Asia will become an indispensable event in many diaries."
Making Their Move18-20 May 2004

Hong Kong is widely acknowledged to be one of the world's premier logistics hubs, especially when it comes to moving goods from the Chinese Mainland to elsewhere in the world. Now, a new trade exhibition called Logistics Hong Kong is bringing together every aspect of that expertise, in response to worldwide industry demand for an event that targets the Hong Kong and Asian logistics market. Organised by Informa Maritime and Transport, the world's largest provider of business information to the logistics industry, the event is sponsored by Logscouncil, the Hong Kong Logistics Development Council, and will run at the HKCEC from 18-20 May 2004. It will bring together representatives from shipping lines, airlines and airports, freight forwarders, road hauliers, and many other areas of expertise within the logistics industry. For any business involved in the Mainland market this looks to be a must-visit exhibition, offering as it does the chance to meet and network with hundreds of Asia's top logistics companies. Logistics Hong Kong will also be highlighting the benefits and opportunities of CEPA, the Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement between Hong Kong and the Mainland.
