From 17 January to 4 February 2004, we will be carrying out vital maintenance work in the Centre's most public area, and unfortunately that means there may be some inconvenience to HKCEC users. During that period, we will be erecting temporary scaffolding on the inside of the Harbour Road Entrance, and we will have to close the entrance completely on
20 January to normal pedestrian traffic for safety reasons. The scaffolding will cover the escalators and staircase leading to Atrium 1 until 4 February 2004 while major maintenance and cleaning works are carried out. The shinny Harbour Road Entrance will be back in use on 5 February.
