The
HKCEC is no stranger to accolades, but its recent naming as
"Asia Pacific's Leading Conference Centre 2002" at the 9th World
Travel Awards was certainly a jewel in its crown. The World
Travel Awards have been described as the 'Oscars' of the World
Tourism and Travel Industry, and winning one of their travel
categories is a significant achievement indeed. Nominees are
determined by votes received from over 500,000 frontline agents
and 80,000 travel agencies worldwide, with the final awards
based on assessment according to the most stringent international
standards. Here at the HKCEC, we are immensely proud of our
achievement in receiving this prestigious award, and committed
to remaining the region's leading conference centre for many
years to come.
